DAY 1: the first 4 hours of doing NOTHING

saturday was the first solid day of being in my apartment for 4 hours straight with no one around and nothing for me to do. by the time i decided to "start" my day it was around 12 and i was pumped cuz i had a list of things to do in my head. i got excited, took out my red dry erase marker and started listing the things off on my mirror: "find a job, blog, plan out my world vacations, find a place to live, work on my resume, file for unemployment, clean the apartment, get rid of old stuff in my room, wash my car, wrap my sister's graduation present, laundry, figure out what to wear to go out tonight for vinita's bday...." i was pumped, ready to start my day, with so many things to do i didnt know where to start.

started to clean my room, but i got overwhelmed by how much useless crap i had with no where to put it, but of course didnt want to get rid of cuz it would be a waste. so i'd lay on my bed, watch a couple episodes of top model, then feel gross and start something else.

then i started to blog, but half way through realized this was a really boring blog that no one would want to read, so why am i writing in it? but had to continue cuz i made a promise to myself i would work on following through on projects i started. (AND because people have told me they have little faith that i would keep writing) so we're stuck with a boring blog. then scrubs would be on and i'd watch that for a couple episodes.

in the end, i didnt finish anything on my list but shower, and i ended up watching 3 episodes of scrubs, 2 top models, 1 girls next door, 2 keeping up with the kardashians, oh and like 4 episodes of the workout.

i felt gross as i drove up to la to meet up and get ready at vinitas and had a killer headache from the night before. was a bit of a pooper at the beginning of the evening, and stuffing my face with roscoes didn't help at all. but then the girls and i started dancing and the evening ended happily. oh until we realized that we lost john chen and didn't find him till this morning. other then that. great night. happy bday vinita.
